 Who Are You at the Marketplace: A child of God who applies the principles of the Word of God so that she can shine as Light to bring glory to the name of the Lord. Galatians 3:26“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:16“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” 1 John 3:1“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” – 1 John 3:1

 What Are You at the Marketplace: You are priests and kings before the throne of our Father, tasked with leading your colleagues in the workplace before the Lord through prayer, preaching the word, and ministering to them with the gifts of the Spirit, so that, through your ministry, they will come to love the Lord. Revelation 1:6 And made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:5:You yourselves, like living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

 And to the Question of Why Are You in the Marketplace: We understand that we are missionaries and that the marketplace is our mission field. And God, in His infinite mercy and wisdom, has strategically placed us in different areas of the marketplace to impact the world to the glory of His Holy Name. We will also give an account of our services to the Most High God. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Mark 16:15-1615 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, separate for me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Navigating the Marketplace Ministry. We navigate our marketplace ministry by being rooted in the Lord our Father through a close personal relationship via: Bible Study, Prayer, Service, and fellowship with believers who love the Lord out of a pure heart. Colossians 2:6-7 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”3. John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”Hebrews 12:2 – “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

 Challenge of the Marketplace Ministry: The marketplace is the intersection of the world and Christianity, where we come together with our different perspectives to pursue a common goal that drives productivity, profitability, and self-development.

• But the challenge for us as children of God is how not to forget:
• Who we are
• What we are,
• Why we are there, and
• How to navigate our workplace ministry by being rooted in Christ and not being lured by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, which is the operative system of the world produced by the marketplace industries.

2nd John 2:15 Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

• 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
• 17 And the world passed away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever.
